November 2^nd Sunday. All souls day celebrated.

St. JUDE FEAST Celebrated on November 9^th Sunday.

There will be no CCD classes on Nov 2 and 9.

 All Children receiving 1^st Holy Communion and Confirmation this school year please register their names at the Help Desk

CCD Classes Start sharp at 11:45 am. All the children are expected to be on time. All those who come late by more than 10 minutes for three days will be marked as absent. Children with 100 percent attendance will receive awards.

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on November 30 Sunday. There will be no CCD classes on that day.

Souvenir. We are taking family pictures for the church souvenir. On Nov 9 Sunday there will be opportunity for all families to have their family pictures taken free of charge. All families are requested by the committee to have their pictures taken. There will be a competition to design the front cover of the souvenir. The final winner will receive an award.

Statements will be mailed to all the families of our church. This includes the statement of the dues not paid for year 2013 and statements for 2014 up to last Sunday. Please review your statements. Contact the trustees for any questions.

Prayer Books are available at the Help Desk to help praying for the youth

October 19, Sunday Announcements

 

St. JUDE FEAST on November 9.Interested families or individuals in becoming a Presudenti are asked to sign up at the Help Desk.

Grand Parents and Retired Parents day. Is celebrated on Oct 26.   The theme will be Blessings for a long life.

Mission Sunday. A reminder to those who have not given to Mission Sunday, that there will be a special collection on Oct.26^th.

Holy Communion and Confirmation recipients for this year are asked to register their names at the Help Desk.

Parish Council. Two ward representatives for the Parish council were selected at the parish council meeting held on Oct 19. Two members from each ward were selected to a total 12 Parish council members for the year 2015-2016.

The Diocese of Gorakhpur. We have joined in partnership with the diocese of Gorakhpur UP. India. The Mission appeal was very successful. A total of $17995.was collected.

Sunday Offering  $1891. Lunch Fund $750.

Election of Ward Representatives will be held on Sunday Oct.19^th after Mass

St. Jude Feast is celebrated on Nov.9^th Sunday. All those interested in becoming Presudenti's please sign up

Sunday Lunch Fund will be $475 for a period of 15 months. Those families wishing to opt out of the lunch fund please inform the Help Desk.

St.Jude ward meeting is held on Oct.18^th saturday 7:pm at Francis Clément's residence.

Mission Sunday is on October19^th. A second collection will be taken for the Missions.

Retired and Grand Parents Day will be held on Oct 26^th Sunday. The theme is Blessings for a Long Life.

Signup sheets available for members wishing to join SMCC, Women's Forum and St. Vincent DePaul.

October 5th sunday

OCT0BER 5th 2014 SUNDAY ANNOUNCEMENT

October 9th Thursday @ 7pm starts the 10 day Rosary Devotion.

October 19th Sunday: Parish Council meeting and election of Ward Leaders.

Rosary Devotion starts on Saturday after the 9am Mass and Sunday after the 12 noon Mass. Sponsors are needed for providing light refreshments after the Rosary. Sign up sheet available at the Help Desk

English Language improvement classes still continuing. Those interested can still sign up. Please check the schedule of classes at the Help Desk.

ST.JUDE Feast is celebrated on November 9th Sunday. Looking for Sponsors.

No CCD classes on next Sunday October 12. All children are expected to be present for 12 pm mass and Rosary

CCD Children's parents receiving 1^St Holy Communion and Confirmation are requested to sign up early at the Help Desk.

 A total of 22 CCD teachers attended the CCD teacher's special workshop at the St Thomas church in Bronx.  Thanks to all teachers who took part in this workshop.

SUNDAY LUNCH.  $475 is the contribution per family this year. This is for a period of 15 months. (3 Additional months) These additional months are to adjust to the financial year.

Bids are invited from caterers and Restaurants to supply lunch for our church.

St. George Ward members will be serving the Sunday lunch after Mass

BISHOP Thomas Thuruthimattam CST the Bishop of the Diocese of Gorakhpur UP India will be visiting our church next Sunday October 12.
